Checkmate Chaos
Checkmate Chaos is a chess-inspired web game where players use special cards to alter movement, revive pieces, freeze or protect pieces, swap positions, and change the flow of the match. I built the game with React and TypeScript, implemented a server-authoritative multiplayer system with PartyKit WebSockets, and integrated Supabase for authentication, saved games, match history, and persistent player sessions. The project also includes interactive tutorials, move history, in-game chat, sound effects, animations, and difficulty-based computer strategy.
